Fragile: handle with care and avoid hard knocks.
Avoid open flame and sudden hot/cold changes, which can crack the porcelain.
Do not scrub with steel or copper brushes or steel wool; wipe gently with a cotton cloth and a neutral detergent.
Hand washing is recommended; if using a dishwasher, choose one with a porcelain/crystal program.
Pieces with real gold trim are not suitable for microwaves, steamers or ovens unless stated otherwise.
Tea and coffee stains can be removed by soaking in vinegar or lemon juice.
Small pinholes, tiny dark specks and slight differences in gold-rim width, hand-painted details, color or size are normal results of high-temperature firing and handcraft.
